Breathwork

“If knowledge is power, then knowing yourself is self-empowerment”

The breath—and what we can do with it—is powerful and accessible to everyone!

Many people new to my style of breathwork often assume it’s about slowing the breath to activate the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest mode), similar to a yoga class. While this is part of it, it’s only the beginning.

Slowing the mind to reduce anxiety and create calm is valuable, but the real depth of this breathwork lies in accessing the sympathetic nervous system.

You might have experienced the feeling of ‘pushing a beach ball down into the water’ with your emotions, trapping them until they resurface unexpectedly. Somatic practices like breathwork help access these 'stuck' emotions in the nervous system, allowing them to be expressed and released without talk therapy.

By holding space for ourselves and exposing ourselves to stress in a controlled way, we expand our window of tolerance. This means we can handle more stress and relax more deeply.

As a Life Coach, I love seeing my clients achieve life-changing breakthroughs. That’s why I assign daily breathwork to all my clients, empowering them to find their own breakthroughs and shifts in perspective every day.

Daily breathwork helps us connect with our inner world, fostering intuition, calm, and self-belief. By tapping into the subconscious, we engage in deep healing work, allowing us to become our highest and truest selves. This means:

  • Small things no longer bother us

  • We see beauty in people, places, and things more easily

  • We go with the flow of life

  • Presence becomes easier to access
